Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms apply to Hop On, a free Slack app made by Intrepide. By installing or using it, you agree to them.
The service
Hop On adds a /meet command to Slack that creates a Google Meet meeting on the
Google account you connect and posts a join link to the conversation. It is free. We may change,
limit, or discontinue it at any time.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app in line with Slack's and Google's terms, and your organization's policies.
- Meetings are created on your Google account, so you are responsible for who you share links with and what happens in your meetings.
- Don't abuse, overload, or try to break the service.
Third-party services
Hop On relies on Slack and Google Meet, which are governed by their own terms. Hop On is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Slack Technologies or Google. Google Meet is a trademark of Google LLC; Slack is a trademark of Slack Technologies, LLC.
Privacy
See the privacy policy for what data the app handles.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Intrepide is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.
