Common questions
Who owns the meeting? Whoever typed /meet. It's created on their Google
account, exactly as if they'd started it from meet.google.com.
Does it work with personal Gmail and Google Workspace? Yes, both.
Google says the app is unverified. Google is still reviewing Hop On. Click Advanced, then Go to Hop On to continue. The app can only create meetings.
"Your Google connection expired." You (or your admin) revoked access. Click Connect Google in the message to reconnect.
"Google didn't return a refresh token." Remove Hop On at
myaccount.google.com/permissions, then
run /meet again.
My Workspace admin blocks it. Admins can allow third-party apps under Google Admin → Security → API controls → App access control.
How do I remove it? Uninstall from your Slack workspace's app settings. All stored tokens for your workspace are deleted and revoked automatically.
